Sharon Lou Wolfsen, age 83 of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, December 2, 2025 at the Cottages at Martin Lake near Fremont. She was born on April 15, 1942 in White Cloud, Michigan to Lionel Lewis & Alice Victoria (Ruwersma) Flinton. Sharon was a member of Second Christian Reformed Church in Fremont, and she had volunteered at the HAGS Gift Shop at Gerber Hospital. She enjoyed golfing and sewing. On August 6, 1960 she married R. Wayne Wolfsen and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Joy Wolfsen in 1988, and by her son R. Scott Wolfsen in 2010. Sharon is survived by 2 daughters: Cheri (Ross) Spoelma of Newaygo, Michigan, Jennifer Gaul of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Margaret "Bogey" Greco of Madison, Wisconsin; 3 grandchildren & 1 great-grandson: Evie (Mark) Marais & their son Oliver, Ben Hollerbach, & Lauren Gaul. She is also survived by her brother, Barry (Sheila) Flinton of White Cloud; brother-in-law, Art (Cheryl) DeMars of Holton; and by several nieces & nephews. There will be a luncheon & time to visit at the Cottages at Martin Lake Cottage #2 from 3:30-5:30 PM on Tuesday, December 9, 2025. Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
