Sherri Elaine (Cowles) Garrett

Sherri Cowles Garrett, 68, of Fremont passed peacefully in her sleep March 14 after a long illness. Beloved Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt, Great-great Aunt, and Family. 

Sherri was adventurous, loving, generous and creative.  This life was difficult for her, but her inherent goodness always remained.

Sherri loved living her life her way. On her own terms. All and all a true free spirit. Never afraid to voice her opinion or views. She loved with all her heart.

She taught us many different things over the years.  How to garden, swim, cook, bake, sew, fish, and play the dulcimer, to name a few.

She is mourned by her brother Mark Cowles of Tampa and his 3 kids, Bob, Mark and Kathy; brother Charlie (Don) McCarthy and wife Diane of Tampa, and their 2 kids, Sean and Skye; brother Gene Cowles' wife Jenna of Berkeley, CA, and their 4 kids, Jess, Julie, Dylan and Jeremy; brother Miles Cowles and his wife Ruth of Fremont, and their 3 kids, Greg, Jess and Miles; sister Becky Cowles Bachman and husband John of Fremont, and their kid Rascal; and sister Linda Cowles Garner Pomeroy and husband Jon of Grant, and their 3 kids, Micheal, Jeni and Wayne; and also all their kids' spouses.  She also has 28 great nieces and nephews, and 11 great-great nieces and nephews all of whom will miss her very much.

Sherri, please tell Mom and Dad and Gene and Mike and Lynn hi for us and that we'll join them as soon as we're done here.  We're really going to miss you Sherri. Vaya con Dios our dear One.
