Sherwood Dean Breuker

Sherwood Dean Breuker, age 85 of Fremont, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday afternoon, February 11, 2024.  He was born on December 1, 1938 in Fremont, Michigan to Herman & Reka (Oosterhouse) Breuker.  Sherwood was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era.  He had been a heavy equipment operator, and he was a member of First Baptist Church of Fremont.  On November 19, 1960 he married Barbara Lester and she preceded him in death on February 2, 2020.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Carl & Gerald Breuker.  Sherwood is survived by 3 sons:  Tony (Joann) Breuker of Grant, Tim (Lisa) Breuker of West Jordan, Utah, Tom Breuker of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren; sisters & brothers:  Jean Deur, Doris  Bouwkamp, Barb (Jerry) Lubbers, Herm (Kathy) Breuker, Rich (Sue) Breuker, Margaret (Rick) Mansfield; and by many nieces & nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Fremont with Dr. Steve Witter officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 10-11 AM on Friday.  Interment will be at Sherman Township Cemetery.  Suggested Memorial:  First Baptist Church of Fremont Building Fund.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
