Shirley Ann (Halberta) Grabon

Mrs. Shirley Ann Grabon, age 75 of Lake George, Michigan passed away at the home of her caregiver in White Cloud, Andrea Sargent-Sharrah, on Friday, October 4, 2019.  She was born on August 11, 1944 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to Alex & Irene (Kordzjinski) Halberda.  Shirley had owned & operated The Family Room Restaurant in Lake George, Michigan, as well as Brandiez Gifts and More online jewelry.  She dedicated her life to her family and to her work.  She was preceded in death by her husband Barry Grabon, and by her parents.  Shirley is survived by 4 children & 14 grandchildren:  William (Tanya) Grabon & their children Kylea & Jacob Grabon, Shelby Bailey, & Nick Starland; Heather (Bruce) Melius & their children Brock Melius, Cheyenne (fiance Pat) Melius, Ryan & Haley Melius; Barry (Liz) Grabon & their daughter Whitney Grabon; Sue (Sean) McManus & their children Alyssa, Brendan, Collin, Daniel, Ethan, Franklin, & Grace McManus; 2 brothers & 7 nephews & nieces:  Alex Halberda & his children Christopher, David, & Jennifer; Tom (Pat) Halberda & his children Rod, Shelly, Cindy, & Randy.  She is also survived by her caregiver & long time friend, Andrea Sargent-Sharrah & her family.  According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  Suggested Memorial:  Heartland Hospice - Newaygo County.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
