Shirley "Ann" (Hetzel) Bartlett

Mrs. Shirley “Ann” Bartlett, age 84 & formerly of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord & Savior on Sunday morning, March 29, 2020.  She was born on December 9, 1935 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Harold & Kathryn (Cain) Hetzel.  Ann currently attended Christ Church in North Muskegon, MI.  She loved her family unconditionally, had a quiet sense of humor, played the piano beautifully,  was extremely good at crossword puzzles, and loved to knit.  On January 8, 1955 she married Pastor Douglas E. Bartlett, and she served alongside him for 48 years in his Pastoral Ministries, until he preceded her in death on September 5, 2018.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold “Sonny” Hetzel.  Ann is survived by 4 children:  Rex (Stella) Bartlett, Todd (Brenda) Bartlett, LuAnn (Brad) Hulce, David (Lori) Bartlett; 11 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren; and 4 sisters:  Carol “Lou” Casey, Jean Houck, Joan (David) Kutz, Kathleen (Andrew) Burger.  Services will be held at a later date, and interment will be in Twin Lake Cemetery.  Suggested Memorials:  Gideons International or The American Cancer Society.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
