Sue Ann (Dake) Zuwerink

Sue Ann Zuwerink, age 75 of Holton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday afternoon, September 20, 2022.  She was born on May 11, 1947.  Sue was a member of Holton United Methodist Church, where she played the organ, piano, and keyboard.  She had also been involved with the Newaygo County 4-H Fair (Holton Happy Hustlers horse program).  On July 16, 1967 she married David G. Zuwerink and he survives her along with 4 children:  David “Andy” Zuwerink, Michael Zuwerink, William “Will” (Lori) Zuwerink, Rachel (Josh) Cross; 8 grandchildren; 1 brother, Jim (Jan) Dake; and 1 sister, Pat (Terry) Zylstra.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Anne (Griswold) Dake.  A Celebration of Sue’s Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Holton United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Stoll officiating.  A luncheon and time to visit with the family will immediately follow the service at church.  Suggested Memorials:  Holton United Methodist Church Music Program, or Spectrum Health Hospice.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
