Sue Ann Zuwerink, age 75 of Holton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday afternoon, September 20, 2022. She was born on May 11, 1947. Sue was a member of Holton United Methodist Church, where she played the organ, piano, and keyboard. She had also been involved with the Newaygo County 4-H Fair (Holton Happy Hustlers horse program). On July 16, 1967 she married David G. Zuwerink and he survives her along with 4 children: David “Andy” Zuwerink, Michael Zuwerink, William “Will” (Lori) Zuwerink, Rachel (Josh) Cross; 8 grandchildren; 1 brother, Jim (Jan) Dake; and 1 sister, Pat (Terry) Zylstra. Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Anne (Griswold) Dake. A Celebration of Sue’s Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Holton United Methodist Church with Pastor Matt Stoll officiating. A luncheon and time to visit with the family will immediately follow the service at church. Suggested Memorials: Holton United Methodist Church Music Program, or Spectrum Health Hospice.
