Terry (Terrence) Wayne Wright, age 82 of Fremont, went Home to be with his Lord and Savior late Tuesday evening, March 19, 2024. He was born on April 23, 1941 in Cadillac, Michigan to Floyd & Deliah (Hamilton) Wright. Terry was a US Navy Veteran, and he was a member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockford, Michigan. He had been employed as a pattern maker by Seaway Pattern in Muskegon, Noreen Pattern in Fruitport, & Tri-Cast in Spring Lake. Terry had also owned & operated Wright Machine & Tool. He had been a hobby farmer in Ravenna, and he was an avid animal lover. Terry was an outdoorsman and loved dirt biking, hunting, & fishing. He also enjoyed spending winters in Arizona. On January 22, 1965 he married Helen Schmidt and she preceded him in death on November 2, 1992. He married Nancy Stocker Bernard on February 3, 1996 and she survives him along with 3 children & 5 grandchildren: Joe (Kelly) Wright & their sons Henry & Simon Wright; Terry (Kim) Wright & their daughters Alyssa (Preston) Cawagas, Katelyn (Mitchell) Landheer; Leigh (Sean) Conard & their son Brendan Conard. Terry is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd & Deliah Wright; brother, Douglas Wright; and step-son, William “Billy” Bernard. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockford, Michigan. Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Navy at the conclusion of the service at church, and a luncheon will immediately follow services at the church. There will also be a time of visiting with the family at the church prior to the service from 10-11 A.M. on Saturday.
