Theda Maureen (Norton) West

Theda Maureen West, age 90 of Fremont, passed away on Friday afternoon, September 27, 2024 at Corewell Health Gerber Hospital in Fremont.  She was born on September 24, 1934 in Walkerville, Michigan to Clayton & Goldie Mae (Strayer) Norton.  Theda had owned & operated Grandma’s Antiques in Fremont, and she had worked for D & W in Fremont and Bill’s Shop-N-Save in Fremont.  She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting.  On July 25, 1951 she married Richard C. West and he preceded her in death on March 4, 2005.  She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ilene & Wanda.  Theda is survived by 3 children:  Shereen West, Linda (Don) Pavlige, Richard W. West; 4 grandchildren:  Michael Pavlige, Jason Pavlige, Monica (Alex) Jurgeleit, Tina (Chris) DeNoma; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Judy VanArman; and by many nieces & nephews.  There will be no visitation or service.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
