Theresa Rae (Baddis) Nelson

Theresa Rae Nelson, age 75 of Fremont, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was born on March 8, 1948 in Fremont, Michigan to Bill & Betty (Griffis) Baddis.  Theresa was retired from Dura Automotive in Fremont, and she was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont.  She had also been a member of the Fremont Moose Lodge #1555 and the Women of the Moose, and she enjoyed bowling.  Theresa is survived by her mother, Betty Morrison of Fremont; children:  Susan (Richard) Lane of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Ronald (Megan) Nelson of Morrison, Illinois; her companion of 30 years, Steve Walker of Fremont and his sons Steve Walker of Fremont, Mike (Viki) Walker of Fremont; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister, Sharon (Frank) Langley of Fremont; sister-in-law, Sharon Baddis of Fremont; and by several nieces & nephews.  Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Bill Baddis; and by her brothers, Gordon & David Baddis.  Cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life luncheon & time to visit with the family will be held from 11-1 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont Fellowship Hall.  Suggested Memorial:  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
