Mr. Thomas Matthew Maleski, age 49 years of Wyoming, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 8, 1971 in East Grand Rapids, Michigan to Lawrence and Kathleen (Rumps) Maleski. Tom graduated from Jenison High School where he was an outstanding soccer player. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, traveling & teaching Karate to children. He achieved a 5th degree black belt. As a civilian, Tom was an Entrepreneur, worked in the medical field as a paramedic. He served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army, successfully completed Ranger & Air assault training, seeing active duty during the Los Angeles Riots, the War in Afghanistan, and the Iraq War. He retired after 22 years of honorable service. He is survived by his wife, Andrea & her 5 children: Madelynne Sargent, James Sargent, Stephen Sargent, Payton Sharrah, Jocelyn Sharrah; his parents Lawrence (Shadow) & Kathleen Maleski; his brother, Michael (Michelle) Maleski & their children: Stephanie, Nicole & Danielle; Uncle Robert Maleski, Cousins: Richard (Verna) Maleski, Rick & Kim Kelly & their children Jenifer & Ricky Kelly, Ace & Brandy Maleski & their children Isabella & Chance Malesk, and in addition, many special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Betty & Charlie Maleski, Eva & Paul Rump; aunts & uncles: Aunt Barbara Maleski, Aunt & Uncle Donna & Richard Maleski, Uncle Michael Rumps, Aunt & Uncle Maryanne & Everett Tiller, Aunt & Uncle Louise & Val Olshewsky; cousins; Michele Maleski & David Maleski. Tom was loved by many, always had a smile on his face, willing to help anyone, brought joy & laughter everywhere he went & will be dearly missed.
