Vivian Barbara (Sweet) Rhines, age 81, entered into the arms of Jesus in the early morning of June 29th, 2021. Vivian was born to Ira & Gladys Sweet on October 2, 1939 in Fremont, MI. Vivian was the youngest of 4 children and is survived by two of her siblings, Gilbert Sweet of Newaygo, MI and Delbert Sweet of Holton, MI. She was preceded in death by her brother, Vernon Sweet and her son, Richard (Skipper) Will. Vivian leaves a legacy of 2 children, Noel Will of Jasper, GA and Nola (Michael) Carew of Casnovia, MI; 6 grandchildren, Cody (Taylor) Carew, Kaylee (Casey) Shoaff, Kirsten (Shannon) Leifker, Colton (Cheyanna) Carew, Casey Carew, and Harlan Will; and 3 great-grandchildren, Lucie, Truett, and Lyla.
Early in her career, Vivian worked for the railroad in Chicago. She later moved on to working as a legal secretary in Fremont, MI for many years and then finished out with a successful career in real estate. She was an intelligent, hard-working, resilient, and strong woman, never letting life circumstances prevent her from achieving her goals. But her greatest joy was in raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She treasured time with her family and fully committed herself to them. In her earlier years, Vivian enjoyed traveling, antiquing, visiting casinos and horse races, and spending time at the lake. In her later years, she spent nearly every day surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, living life fully to the very end of time.
