William C. Smith

William C. Smith, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 in Fremont, MI.  He was born on February 10, 1943 in Bridgeton Township to William and Dorothy (Drake) Smith. 

William loved hunting, fishing, going to the casino, and spending time with family.  He loved having his grandchildren visit him. 

William is survived by his wife, Eleanor (Strube) Smith; his 3 sons:  William (Jennifer) Smith, Jr., Richard (Racheal Ring) Smith, Sr., Paul (Secelia) Smith; his 2 sisters, Jane Drake and DiAnna Smith; brothers-in-law:  Donald (Susan) Strube, James (Carol) Strube, Edward (Brenda) Strube; sisters-in-law, Shirley (Dennis) Medema and Diane Strube; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Dorothy Smith; daughter, Judy Smith; grandson, Richard Smith Jr.; great-grandson, Braiden Smith; and brothers-in-law, Charles Strube and Raymond Drake.
