William "Bill" Russell Newman

Mr. William Russell Newman, Sr., age 92 years of Hesperia, passed away on Tuesday, September 5 ,2023 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. He was born on April 13, 1931 in Roseland, Indiana to Warren and Pearl (Enderley) Newman. William had worked as a carpenter and a mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Newman; 8 children: William (Sherry) Newman, Jr., Carl  (Donna) Newman, Tom (Nancy) Newman, Jerry (Pam) Newman, Linda (Herman) Andress, Beth (Carl) Dodge, Roger (Sue) Newman, and Louise (Rob) Troughton; and by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary (Britton) Newman.
