Doris J. (Johnson) Rottman

Mrs. Doris J. Rottman, age 86 years of Fremont, passed away on Thursday evening, April 7, 2016 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on February 2, 1930 in Fremont, Michigan to John & Burnetta (Meeuwenberg) Johnson.  Doris was retired from Gerber Products Company, and she loved spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids.  On July 22, 1949 she married Herb Rottman and he preceded her in death on November 24, 2009.  She was also preceded in death by her son, Dennis Rottman on March 18, 2006; by her brother, Mike Johnson; and by her sister, Evelyn Dragt.  She is survived by 2 sons:  Garry (Debra) Rottman of Newaygo, Morris (Cathy) Rottman of Fremont; 3 grandchildren:  Gregg (Carissa) Rottman, Carrie Rottman, Desi Rottman; 5 great grandchildren:  Broddy, Patton, Danny, Gunnar, & Denise; and 2 sisters:  Donna (Jim) Munson of Fremont, Betty Jiminez of Florida.  The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at First Reformed Church in Fremont (348 E. Main Street) with Pastor Kevin Schutt officiating.  Interment will be in Sherman Township Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home from 6-8 PM on Monday.  Suggested Memorial:  The Alzheimer's Association  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
