Margaret R. (Schuiteman) Visscher

Mrs. Margaret R. (Schuiteman) Visscher, age 100 of Fremont, passed away early Friday morning, November 18, 2016 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on June 16, 1916 in Fremont, Michigan to Edd & Gertrude (Bultman) Schuiteman.  Margaret was a member of First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Engbert Visscher, on March 14, 2001; 4 brothers:  Evert, John, Mike, & Marv Schuiteman; and by 3 sisters:  Alice Ensing Combs, Anna Luchies, & Gladys DeKuiper.  She is survived by her children:  Keith (Karen) Visscher, Don (Gayle) Visscher, Cheryl Visscher, & special "adopted" daughter Denise Kavanagh all of Fremont; 6 grandchildren:  Jeff (Jennifer) Visscher, Robb (Amy) Visscher, Traci (Lauren) Sweet, Bamm (Drea) Visscher, Kelli Visscher, & T.J. (Cheri) Visscher; 17 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruth Schuiteman of Fremont; and brothers-in-law:  Al Busch of Fremont, & Harold Visscher of Grand Rapids.  According to her wishes cremation has taken place, and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont (721 Hillcrest Drive) with Pastor Drew Sweetman officiating.
