Patricia Ann (Featherstone) Mills

Mrs. Patricia Ann (Featherstone) Mills, age 88 years of Fremont, passed away on Monday evening, July 18, 2016 at Spectrum Health Gerber Memorial in Fremont.  She was born on August 26, 1927 in Cheboygan, Michigan to Roche & Pearl (Gilmore) Featherstone.  Pat had been a Deacon at Faith Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Wisconsin for over 20 years.  On April 20, 1947 she married Alvah E. Mills and he preceded her in death on October 25, 1994.  She was also preceded in death by her sisters & brothers:  Audrey, Jim, Wayne, Dorothy, Keith, Ralph, Lottie, Jean, & Bill.  Pat is survived by 4 children:  William (Mary) Mills, Patricia Jo (James) Rusch, Valoree (John MacDonald) Mills, Michael (Lisa) Mills; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Jackie Featherstone; and many nieces & nephews including a special nephew, Geb Nau.  According to Pat's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Resonate Church in Newaygo (302 E. 68th Street) with Pastor Erik Harvey officiating.  A luncheon and time to visit with the family will immediately follow at the church.  Interment will be at Pinehill Cemetery in Cheboygan, Michigan.  Suggested Memorials:  The American Heart Association, or The American Lung Association.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
