Geraldine "Geri" Kinniburgh

Mrs. Geraldine "Geri" Kinniburgh, age 92 years of Fremont, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 17, 2016 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  She was born on June 2, 1923 in Newaygo, Michigan to George & Anna (DeGrenia) Slominski.  Geri had been employed by Newaygo Public Schools as the secretary for the Superintendent for many years until her retirement.  On September 20, 1944 she married Robert O. Kinniburgh and he survives her along with 2 children:  Rob (Nancy) Kinniburgh of Newaygo, Kimberly (Brad) Bates of Chevy Chase, Maryland; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, & 6 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Norma Slominski of Newaygo; and brother-in-law, Hugh Kinniburgh of New York.  She was preceded in death by 1 great great granddaughter; by her brother George Slominski; and by her sister Tina Fowler.  There will be no visitation or service.  Suggested Memorial:  The Alzheimer's Association.  You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
