Lois Nancy (Boeskool) Brookhouse

Lois Nancy (Boeskool) Brookhouse passed away peacefully on her 91st birthday surrounded by her family in Fremont, Michigan. 

She was active in the Red Cross and the Hospital Auxiliary Girls Society of Gerber Memorial Spectrum Health.  She was a long time member of the First Christian Reformed Church.  She loved playing golf, fishing, bowling, and playing dominoes with her friends.

Surviving her are her children Jon (Barb) Brookhouse, Nancy Leaver, Holly (Doug) Frakes, Betsy (Doug) Crater, Tony (Denise) Brookhouse.  16 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Jay, son Nicholas, daughter Molly, grandson Chad, seven sisters and one brother. 

Contributions in her memory may be made to Fremont Christian School.

The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2017 at First Christian Reformed Church in Fremont (721 Hillcrest Drive) with Rev. Drew Sweetman officiating.  Visitation will also be at the church from 1-2 PM on Monday.  Interment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.    You can sign the online guest book at www.kroeze-wolffis.com.  Arrangements are by Kroeze-Wolffis Funeral Home, Inc. of Fremont.
